What should you do before the release of Update 10.2 for Dragonflight?
With the release of Update 10.2, scheduled for November 8th, players will embark on the defense of Amdirassil, a new world tree that began its growth in the Emerald Dream. One week later, on November 15th, the third season of Dragonflight begins, allowing heroes to battle Firraku, explore the season’s Epic+ dungeons, and participate in PvP activities. At the same time, a number of rewards exclusive to the second season will become unavailable or harder to obtain.

The second season of Dragonflight ends in the the following way:
The current content season in Dragonflight will end on the eve of the start of technical maintenance – the 7th of November. At the end of the season, you will no longer be able to earn any of the rewards, titles, and rankings from Dragonflight’s 2nd PvP season.
By that time the final ratings will be recorded for earning the “Glowing Hero: 2nd Dragonflight Season” achievement for being in the top 0.1% of the best players in Epic+ Dungeon Mode. The “Glowing Hero” title and achievement will be awarded in several weeks after the end of the season, so you may delay changing factions until you receive them. All other Epic+ achievements and rewards will remain available until the start of Dragonflight Season 3 on Wednesday, November 15th.
With the release of update 10.2 and the conclusion of Dragonflight Season 2, the following rewards will no longer be available:

- Obsidian Gladiator’s Slitherdrake mount and Winding Slitherdrake: Embodiment of the Obsidian Gladiator drake tmog;
On November 15th, the following rewards will no longer be available:
On November 8th, the following titles will no longer be available:
– “Obsidian Legend” for the “Obsidian Legend: Dragonflight Season 2” achievement.
– “Obsidian Gladiator” for the “Obsidian Gladiator: Dragonflight Season 2” achievement.
– “Glowing Hero” for the “Smoldering Hero: Dragonflight Season 2” achievement.
On November 15th, the following title will no longer be available:
– “Smoldering” for the “Dragonflight Keystone Conqueror: Season 2” achievement.
